Is it ozone free?

Levoit does not use any electronic filtrations and is 100% ozone free.

Air purifiers are designed to clean the air, not to create more pollution. Unfortunately, this is partially true! Many air purifiers use electronic filtrations as main or as add-ons, which are usually responsible for producing ozone, formaldehyde, and/or other chemical byproducts. You should avoid those air purifiers if you have asthma or any respiratory illness. Some air purifiers would say that their ozone production is below tolerable standard but relatively low amounts can cause chest pain, coughing, shortness of breath and throat irritation. Ozone may also worsen chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma and compromise the ability of the body to fight respiratory infections.
